What can I do with Vetra?

Vetra is the builder platform of the powerhouse.inc ecosystem. It allows you to browse the packages of other builders or start building your own package by defining document models, user experiences and data integrations with the help of specification driven AI.

Where to get started?

A good place to start is the powerhouse.academy developer documentation. Here we guide you through the process of creating your first package in Vetra Studio.

What code languages are required to get started?

Knowledge of Typescript and GraphQL are recommended. But even for tech-enthousiasts you can get far with the help of our Academy, the PH-CLI and the specification driven AI tooling we provide.

Is all code open-source?

All Powerhouse code is created under the the Daimon Dual Phase License (DDPL). Which is an innovative open source license that combines the collaborative benefits of copyleft licensing with the eventual freedom of permissive licensing.

Phase 1 (Copyleft): Strong reciprocal obligations designed to encourage contributions back to the community

Phase 2 (Permissive): Automatic conversion to MIT License (or another specified license) after the change date

It is ideal for:
- Commercial open source projects seeking initial protection
- Projects wanting to build community before full commoditization
- Startups needing investor-friendly IP strategy

What is Vetra Cloud?

Vetra Cloud is a hosting and deployment solution for builders, teams and organizations to host their Powerhouse Stack in the Ecosystem. Vetra Cloud is provided by the Core Devs of Powerhouse.

Vetra Cloud allows you to deploy a server instance on which you can host your own instances of the host applications and store your data.

What is Switchboard and the Powerhouse host applications?

To vertically integrate all the required tooling for decentralized and open organisations we've created multiple host applications that make use of the software package you create.

Connect: A collaboration hub for independent contributors
Switchboard: A portal through which you can manage remote instances and get access to the API
Renown: A decentralized identity and reputation system
Fusion: An SDK for visualizing the collected data of your organization in public.
